Project Description
Amplify: Inspiration and great ideas can come from anywhere. Delta takes a radically open approach, and asks this question: What real world improvements do you think would make flying better?
Activate: Delta worked with TED to create an integrated program that distributes TEDTalks, while engaging communities through social media, projects and collaborations at TED Conferences, and even custom events at their headquarters that bring thought-leaders together to brainstorm around “Ideas in Flight.”
Engage: A TEDActive Project combined online engagement with onsite conversations, bringing together experts across disciplines to explore the customer experience of travel -- from terminal to take-off.

The Delta project produced recommendations to enhance air travel, both for individual travelers and the industry. The following year, executives returned to the conference to host an intimate dinner around the airline industry, and demonstrate how they had brought action to the best attendee ideas.
