TED’s mission of “Ideas Worth Spreading” now reaches far beyond the yearly conferences, encompassing a variety of projects and initiatives that leverage the power of ideas to change the world.
Host a salon, curated by TED: Create a TED-like environment to engage with the future, find elusive audiences, test ideas and create tangible relationships with the thriving TED community of influencers and super spreaders.
Based on the success of our own TED Salon series, we expanded this concept to bring TED into corporations to jumpstart ideas and spark conversation. These unique, curated events are produced by TED with two sessions just over an hour and a conversation break. It’s a taste of the same amazing diversity of knowledge you’ll find at a TED conference, in just one evening or afternoon. TED hosted events are reserved for partners at the million-dollar level and beyond.
Twice a month, we offer a video screening at 12:30 pm. The interesting part of this is that it’s not just one Allstate location involved. We have volunteers in other locations and we coordinate to show the same video. This helps employees feel connected because they can talk with coworkers across the country about the TEDTalks they experience.
