TED’s mission of “Ideas Worth Spreading” now reaches far beyond the yearly conferences, encompassing a variety of projects and initiatives that leverage the power of ideas to change the world.
Leadership development + collaboration: The TED Institute is a facilitated experience that allows top-level executives to immerse themselves at the TED conference through intentional interactions with speakers and innovators.
The ultimate goal of the TED Institute program is to surface incredible ideas and solutions for our partner organizations through interactions with thought leaders in the TED community. This model creates a multidisciplinary discussion between large corporations, start-ups, schools, nonprofits, foundations and anyone else who realizes the power of thinking. We hope to free ideas from institutional and disciplinary silos, catalyzing their distribution and implementation at some of the most influential organizations in the world.
Twice a month, we offer a video screening at 12:30 pm. The interesting part of this is that it’s not just one Allstate location involved. We havevolunteers in other locations and we coordinate to show the same video. This helps employees feel connected because they can talk with coworkers across the country about the TEDTalks they experience.
